Yantai is a prefecture-level city in Shandong Province, located in the northeast of Shandong Peninsula, bordering Weihai in the east, Weifang and Qingdao in the west, Yellow Sea in the south, Bohai Sea in the north, and Liaodong Peninsula and Dalian across the sea. Yantai has a land area of 13745.95 square kilometers and a coastline of 909 kilometers. There are 63 islands near the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea.
