June apricot grafting method
The grafting method of apricot trees in June is as follows:

1. Select healthy apricot branches, cut 5-8 cm as scions, leave 2-3 robust buds at the top, and cut the other end into inclined planes.

2. Insert the apricot scion into the incision of the rootstock and tie it tightly with a plastic bag.

3. Check the survival rate of grafted apricot seedlings. About 10 days after grafting, if the bud is fresh, it means that the growth condition is good. If it falls after touching the petiole, it means it has survived. Bud atrophy and blackening or petiole touching but not falling, indicating that it is not alive and needs to be patched in time.

Pruning method of apricot in full fruit period

1, shortcut to promote fruit

In the early pregnancy of apricot fruit, it is necessary to prune some vegetative branches, extend them appropriately, and cut them properly to promote the plants to grow new branches and buds, and draw fruit branches.

Be sure to cut it short at the right time. If it is too light, it will produce more fruit branches, but it will also lead to weak growth of new branches, make the growth of fruit trees lose balance, reduce the overall growth and shorten the life of apricot trees.

Step 2 prune the fruit branches

Although fruit branches can bear fruit effectively, if they are allowed to grow at will, the tree shape will be disrupted, and even the backbone branches will form a competitive trend, just like how apricot trees are pruned in the schematic diagram. This is not conducive to the overall development of apricot trees, and it is necessary to change the extension direction of fruiting branches through reasonable pruning, which is beneficial to long-term fruiting.

3. In vain.

During the growth of apricot trees, vigorous branches will appear. If they are not treated in time, they will take away a lot of nutrients and slow down the growth trend of the whole plant. If the long branches are useful, they should be picked and topped in time. If it doesn't work, you can trim it directly.
