Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, formerly known as Shanghai Devon Medical College founded by German doctor Dr. Baolong in 197. In 1927, it was renamed as National Tongji University Medical College, and moved from Shanghai to Wuhan in 195, and merged with Wuhan University Medical College, and was named as Zhongnan Tongji Medical College. It was renamed Wuhan Medical College in 1955 and Tongji Medical University in 1985. In May 2, according to the overall arrangement of the national education system reform and the spirit of the document of the Ministry of Education, it merged with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan Urban Construction College and Cadre Management College of the Ministry of Science and Technology to form Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
