Zhenghu persimmon
Zhenghu seedless persimmon has high requirements on topography, climate and soil quality. Zhenghu persimmon is an excellent seedless persimmon variety introduced from Gongcheng County, Guangxi by Zhou Jiaoyu 1987 of Fujian Agricultural University. After more than ten years of development, it has become the largest persimmon production base in northwest Fujian. In May 2005, Zhenghu Township Government registered the trademark of "Zhenghu" brand persimmon, and in September of the same year, Zhenghu Persimmon Cooperative in Shahe City was established. In 2006, the existing seedless persimmon planting area in the township was more than 6,500 mu, and the output reached more than 600 tons. There is a persimmon processing enterprise with an annual output of 2000 kg.
In June 2008, Zhenghu persimmon passed the audit of China Green Food Development Center, was recognized as green food, and was allowed to use the "green food" logo. It is the first water persimmon agricultural product in this province that has passed the national green food demonstration.

Second, the site conditions
The soil is red soil and yellow soil, with organic matter content ≥2.0%, soil thickness ≥ 1m, soil pH ≥ 5.5-7.0, groundwater level ≤ 1m, sufficient sunshine, good drainage, elevation between 400 m and 600 m, and slope ≤ 30.
Third, cultivation management.
1. Seedling breeding: The persimmon in Shan Ye, Shaxian County is used as the rootstock, and the seedlings are propagated by grafting.
2. Planting time: after defoliation, plant in early March of the following year.
3. Planting density: 26-28 plants per 667 mu.
4. Fertilization management: apply decomposed organic fertilizer ≥ 2,000 kg every 667_ (mu) every year.
5. Plastic pruning: winter pruning is the main method, supplemented by summer pruning to ensure ventilation and light transmission of trees.
6. Yield control: the yield per mu is ≤ 2,500kg.
