Methods to eliminate warp runout: firstly, we should eliminate centripetal runout and alternately loosen the tightening strips on the left and right panels of the runout section; Then rule out the heart beat, and the loose strips in the jump section are tightened alternately. If the steel ring is still jumping, besides adjusting the tightness of the strip in the jumping section, the tightness of the strip near the jumping section should also be adjusted.
Adjusting the rim is a meticulous job. Don't turn the nut too much at a time. Generally, only one-quarter to one-half turn is allowed, and the standard is when the whole rim runout is less than one millimeter.
During bicycle training, the rim will be severely twisted or "bent to death" due to collision or wrestling. If the correction cannot be made by tightening the slats, the rims, tires and slats (or a part of them) can be removed and straightened with a wooden stick or hammer (wood chips should be put on the hammer to prevent damage to the rims). If the deformation is large, put the rim on the ground and flatten it with your feet. Crossbars can also be used to shorten the long axis direction of the rim or to increase the long axis direction. Then draw a circle with a diameter of 670 mm on the ground for inspection. If the rim and the circle on the ground basically coincide, it means that the ellipse of the rim has been eliminated. Then the corrected rim is installed on the lathe, and then it is accurately corrected on the flat roll straightener.
