Prosthetic table and artificial eye
Orbital implant is made of hydroxyapatite (HA). The implantation of porous hydroxyapatite orbital implant combined with the customization of artificial eye tablets in the later stage can better meet the aesthetic requirements of patients. Orbital implant is an alternative implant for plastic surgery after enucleation. Comprises a spherical or ellipsoidal matrix composed of porous spongy hydroxyapatite or calcium phosphate bioceramics, polymethyl methacrylate, bioactive glass or glass-ceramics converted by coral chemical synthesis, and a fixing piece positioned on the matrix to connect the matrix and the eye muscle for fixation. The artificial eye table is implanted for those eyeballs that cannot be preserved due to injury or pathological changes, or an eyepiece is installed for patients. Its function is generally to wear artificial eye tablets after implantation to achieve full effect.

Artificial eye, commonly known as artificial eye, is directly worn on the eyeball, or directly used after corneal covering surgery and orbital implant surgery. At present, there are several artificial eye materials, such as polymer, glass and plastic, and soft artificial eyes, which are worn by monocular patients for beauty.
