Why do flowers need pruning? Why do flowers need pruning and shaping?
The flower proverb "seven points depend on the tube, three points depend on the scissors" is an important flower planting experience. Pruning can not only make the flower branches evenly distributed, save nutrients, adjust the plant vitality, control the plant length, make the flower plants neat and beautiful, but more importantly, it is conducive to more flowering. Most of bloom is in the new branch. Only by constantly pruning old branches can we promote new branches, blossom more and bear more fruits. Pruning is usually divided into the following two types:

(l) dormancy pruning. Mainly used for thinning and cutting. It should be done in early spring when the sap just begins to flow out and the buds are about to sprout. Pruning too early, the wound is not easy to heal, the bud germinates, and the new bud is vulnerable to freezing injury; If you prune it too late, the new buds will have sprouted and the nutrients will be wasted.

(2) Pruning in growth period. The main purpose is to regulate the vegetative growth, including core removal, bud smearing, flower thinning, fruit thinning, pruning and so on. The growth period can be carried out at any time.

Through our introduction, I believe everyone has a deeper understanding of why flowers should be trimmed and why flowers should be trimmed.
