QFP (Quadrant Flat Package) is a flat package with four sides, which is a kind of surface mount package. Lead wires are led out from four sides in the shape of gull wings (L). Plastic QFP is the most popular multi-pin LSI package. It is not only used in digital logic LSI circuits such as microprocessors and gate displays, but also used in analog LSI circuits such as VTR signal processing and audio signal processing.
