When he saw Liu Bang lying on the lap of a eunuch, he cried and persuaded him. He also said to Liu Bang, have you forgotten Zhao Gao? Fan Kuai was uneducated and unconvincing, so Liu Bang just smiled and didn't take him seriously. Fan Kuai had no choice but to ask the educated Zhang Liang to persuade Liu Bang. Liu Bang reluctantly walked out of the gentle village.

Xiang Yu was dissatisfied with Liu Bang's capture of Xianyang first, so he held a Hongmen Banquet and planned to kill Liu Bang at the banquet. Fan Kuai knew that the situation was urgent, so he forced his way in and loudly accused Xiang Yu, making Xiang Yu unable to express his words. Xiang Yu praised Fan Kuai for being a strong man, and in the end he did not embarrass Liu Bang and released Liu Bang.

After that, Fan Kuai continued to follow Liu Bang in the southern and northern wars. Finally, Liu Bang founded the country and named Fan Kuai the Marquis of Wuyang.

After Liu Bang founded the country, he was afraid of the founding heroes. The founding heroes were also afraid of being killed by Liu Bang, so they rebelled one after another. At this time, Fan Kuai became Liu Bang's most trusted person. He followed Liu Bang, first attacking Yan King Zang Tu, then capturing Chu King Han Xin, then attacking Han King Han Xin, and then attacking Zhao Xiang Chen_. It can be said that Fan Kuai helped Liu Bang put down the rebellion among the princes.

However, the suspicious and somewhat confused Liu Bang also suspected that his son's best friend Lu Wan would rebel, so he sent Fan Kuai to attack Lu Wan. After all, Lu Wan, Fan Kuai, and Liu Bang had grown up together, so he didn't quite believe that Lu Wan would rebel, so he was reluctant to leave.

This made Liu Bang angry. Liu Bang had completely disowned his relatives at that time, so he sent Chen Ping and Zhou Bo to kill Fan Kuai.

Chen Ping was more cautious and saw that Liu Bang was terminally ill. He knew that if he killed Fan Kuai, Empress Lu would not be able to pass the test, so he just captured Fan Kuai and did not kill him on the spot. . Sure enough, Liu Bang died on the way, and Fan Kuai was able to survive safely.

In Liu Ying's sixth year as emperor, Fan Kuai died and was posthumously named Marquis Wu by Empress Lu.

Fan Kuai’s wife is Empress Lu’s sister Lu_. When Liu Bang died and Empress Lu took sole control of the world, in order to strengthen the power of her Lu family, Empress Lu not only made all the men of the Lu family kings and marquises, she even made Lu _ the Marquis of Linguang. She also became the third woman in Chinese history to be granted the title of Marquis.

Fan Kuai and Lu_ had a son named Mr. Fan. After Fan Kuai passed away, Fan and his wife became the Marquis of Wuyang in place of his father. The fate of Mr. and Mrs. Fan was also very tragic, because he was the son of Lu. Therefore, Mr. and Mrs. Fan were also killed during the campaign to purge Zhu Lu.

Fan Kuai and Lu_ seem to be more than just an only son like Fan. There is such a record in the "Book of Han": "Lü Xunu, the Empress Dowager's younger brother, was also the wife of the Marquis of Yingling, so he established the Marquis of Yingling Ze as King Langxie." There is only one sentence about this section in "Historical Records": "Yinglinghou Ze is the king of Langxie."

We can see from the records in "Hanshu" that Lu_ should have another daughter, who was married to Liu Ze, the Marquis of Yingling at that time. Liu Ze is Liu Bang's distant cousin. After Liu Bang founded the country, he was granted the title of Marquis of Yingling. Later, when Empress Lu came to power, she forced Liu Fei to give up Langya County to Liu Ze. Therefore, Liu Ze was named King Langya again.

Because Liu Ze later made great achievements in pacifying Zhu Lu and welcoming Liu Heng as emperor. In addition, he was a member of the Liu family, so he was not affected. If his wife is really the daughter of Fan Kuai and Lu_, she should not be affected. In addition, Fan Kuai and his beloved concubine also had a son named Fan Shi. After all, the people from Fan City had nothing to do with the Lu family, so he was not killed. Later, Liu Heng asked him to inherit Fan Kuai's title of Wuyang Marquis.

After the death of Fan Shi, he was posthumously named Huanghou. His son Fan Taguang inherited the title of Marquis of Wuyang.

This person went to Han Jing Emperor Liu Qi to complain, saying that Fan Taguang was not the biological son of the people in Fanshi, because the people in Fanshi had a hidden disease and could not have children. Therefore, Fan Taguang should not inherit the title.

At that time, Liu Qizheng wanted to reduce the vassal status, so he took advantage of the situation and took away Fan Taguang's title and demoted him to a commoner. Fan Kuai's country is gone.

Speaking of which, Fan Kuai fought loyally for Liu Bang all his life, and it was very tragic that his descendants ended up like this.
