Design of Profile Exhibition Hall: Secrets and Challenges of Aluminum Extrusion Profile
In the design of profile exhibition hall, the use of aluminum profile occupies an important position. However, there are some imperceptible challenges in the design and manufacture of aluminum extrusion profiles. The following are some points that you must pay attention to.

Tolerance setting should be cautious.

Aluminum extrusion profile is formed under hot pressing conditions, and its tolerance range is relatively large. When making tolerances, we should fully consider the actual production capacity of manufacturers to ensure product accuracy.

The thickness of the material is particular.

In order to ensure the stability of extrusion and mass production, the thickness of aluminum extrusion profile should not be too thin. Generally, it is recommended to choose a thickness above 0.8mm to provide better extrusion effect.

It is necessary to control the difference in tube thickness.

Excessive difference in tube thickness may bring difficulties to die trimming and extrusion. Try to control the pipe thickness difference within 4 times.

Surface treatment needs to be communicated in advance.

The surface treatment process has an important influence on the determination of the early closed line of extrusion die. It is an essential step to fully communicate with surface treatment suppliers and provide detailed requirements for surface process effect before formal mold opening.

Sharp corner treatment needs to leave room.

Aluminum extrusion profile can not reach absolute acute angle, so a certain R angle should be reserved in design. After subsequent polishing, oxidation, oil injection and other processes, the R angle will increase.

Hollow and solid parts need to be balanced.

The proportion of hollow and solid parts of aluminum extrusion profiles should be kept relatively balanced to avoid excessive inconsistency or deviation. Adjusting the design according to the actual structure can ensure the stability and aesthetics of the product.
