When planting potted peach trees, it is necessary to choose soil rich in humus. You can use fully decomposed organic fertilizer as base fertilizer, put it in a pot, water it once, and then put it in a warm, ventilated and cool place for maintenance.

After taking the pot, water it, gradually improve the light intensity of the conservation environment, and replace the new pot soil every one to two years to ensure that its roots have enough room for growth.

Flowering pruning method

When pruning during dormancy, it is often because the flower buds cannot be confirmed, or in order to prevent the number of fruit buds from being affected by frostbite and mechanical damage, so leave more flower buds for pruning before or during flowering in spring. The purpose of this pruning is mainly to set buds and bear fruit. If there are too few flower branches, a small amount of leaves and buds at the base can be thinned or cut off.

For shorter fruit branches or flower buds (axillary flower buds), the top can be cut off and some flower buds can be properly thinned to make the fruit compact. Judging from the visual intensity, position and overall shape, the number of flower buds left by the large fruit type can be less, and the small fruit type can be more. When thinning flowers, only the buds are cut off without damaging the fruit platform, because most of the secondary branches of the fruit platform can still bloom in the same year.
