Cultivation technology of this tree
1. Seedling cultivation
Before raising seedlings, soak the seeds in 40℃ warm water for 24 hours, and then mix the seeds with 2 times the moist water. Mix the sand evenly and put it into a seed storage cellar (or pit). Take out the seeds half a month before sowing, spread them in the leeward and sunny place, and perform germination outdoors. Sow when about 1/3 of the seeds begin to crack.
2. Cultivation of large seedlings
After the soil thaws in spring and before the sap flows, adjust the density by transplanting. Depending on the canopy condition of the seedlings, it is appropriate that the canopy has sufficient space for expansion.
3. Planting and management
Select large seedlings: healthy plants that meet the cultivation requirements, and strive to have a graceful tree shape and facilitate excavation and transportation.
Seedling raising time: Seedling raising, transportation and planting at the same time. The best time to do this is from late March to early April in spring, before the seedlings sprout.
Excavation of large seedlings: It is better to cut off the roots 1 to 2 years in advance. Before the soil freezes, dig a circular ditch according to the size of the soil lump and fill it with leaves, weeds, etc. The diameter of the soil lump is 7 to 10 times the diameter of the seedlings. After the soil freezes, dig out the leaves and weeds and use a straw rope to or other packaging materials to ensure that the soil lumps are intact and not scattered, and the position of the tree crown should be marked at the same time.
Transportation: Transportation should ensure that soil is not scattered and excessive extrusion of the tree body and crown can cause mechanical damage. Supports and other measures can be used to maintain the integrity of the crown.
4. Cultivation technology
Planting holes: The planting holes are determined according to the size of the maple soil. It is appropriate that the diameter of the hole is greater than 20% of the diameter of the soil.
Planting method: Place the tree body in the middle of the planting hole, straighten the tree body, and make the planting hole position consistent with the tree crown position. Fill the soil evenly and compact it in layers.
Irrigation: Water thoroughly after planting, and cover with soil after water has penetrated to keep it moist.
Bracket fixation: After the ornamental seedlings are planted, the brackets should be fixed in time. Generally, three poles are used to fix and support the tree trunk. The support point is tied and fixed at 2/3 of the height of the trunk, and is sandwiched between the trunk and the bracket. Cotton cloth or plastic. If the tree crown is tall, 1 to 2 brackets can be added to ensure the stability of the tree.
Weeding and soil loosening: Remove weeds under the canopy projection in a timely manner and loosen the soil.
Drought resistance and drainage: If the soil is dry, water should be poured in time. If water accumulates due to prolonged rain or heavy rain, ditches should be dug immediately for drainage.
