I just picked two pages of ppt made by Gigi and looked at it ↓
How do you feel after reading it? Do you understand what ppt is about?
After reading these two pages, I realized that this little Gigi, he doesn't understand the boss's heart at all!
The boss is very busy every day and has time to read his ppt word by word. What's the difference between his ppt and a Word document?
Alas! Seeing that he is so poor, help him.
In fact, as long as the text typesetting is done well, ppt can completely bid farewell to ugliness!
I talk about how to solve the problem of ppt text from four aspects.
First of all, let's look at these two pages, taking the first page as an example:
At first glance, it is dense, and there is no gap between words and lines. Have you ever seen two men touch at zero distance?
Since it's not gay, let's split it up!
If the spacing between words is too small, it is difficult to read the text clearly. After a long time, I have a headache when I look at it!
Therefore, the first step we need to do is to adjust the spacing and line spacing.
In ppt production, the font size of text is generally 16-20px, which is just right for text. I choose the word 16 because there are many words here.
Let's talk about how to adjust the line spacing and word spacing, and what parameters are the most appropriate?
I recorded a moving picture below. Let's see where we need to adjust the line spacing.
On the Home tab, find the Line Spacing option. You can choose 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 line spacing, or you can customize the line spacing.
In general ppt text, 1.2 or 1.5 times line spacing is the most suitable.
The effect of 1.2 times row spacing is shown in figure ↓
It looks much better now, but the spacing is still a little crowded. Let's adjust the spacing between words again.
Also under the Start tab, find the word spacing and adjust the left and right spacing of the text.
Generally choose sparse, or customize: regular-1.0 lbs.
I chose sparse to see the effect ↓
Do you look much more comfortable now? You can finally catch your breath. ...
Content classification refers to the segmentation of text content so that readers can understand the text content more intuitively.
We can see that this page of ppt is about breast cancer. It is so obscure that it is difficult to understand its main points in a short time.
We can divide its content.
It will be more intuitive to put similar content together.
Now, of course, we know these contents ourselves, but it is still a little difficult for the audience to understand them at a glance.
Next, let's add a corresponding subtitle to each paragraph. ↓
After adding subtitles, in order to highlight the title, the subtitles are bold.
Is it much clearer? The content of the text is clear at a glance.
Next, we can read that the first three items are all about diseases, and the following is about treatment. We can highlight the treatment alone and better compare the etiology and treatment.
At the same time, add some elements to the title to highlight the content of the title. ↓
Because it is about women's diseases, I added an irregular pink shape as the base to highlight the text.
Here, is this page ppt much better?
The boss only needs to look at the title and subtitle on the page to know what you want to talk about. What can make a busy boss more comfortable than saving him time?
Finally, if you think the page is a little empty, you can add a little element to the page to decorate it. ↓
How's it going? Is it much more comfortable?
Let's take a look at the comparison before and after.
Let's look at page two.
Same routine. I won't introduce it in detail.
1 Line spacing and kerning
2 Content classification
3 highlight the key points
Let's take a look at the comparison between these two pages.
Is the text intuitive and clear? Will the boss diss you when he sees such ppt?
Go and have a try!
