The four items of blood lipid are to check whether there is hyperlipidemia, and their four contents mainly include total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein and high density lipoprotein. If the total cholesterol is higher than 6.22mmol/L, it is diagnosed as hypercholesterolemia. If the triglyceride is higher than 2.26mmol/L, it is diagnosed as hypertriglyceridemia. If total cholesterol and triglycerides rise at the same time, it is called mixed hyperlipidemia.
