Shanghai Children’s Hospital is a tertiary-level children’s hospital that integrates medical treatment, health care, teaching, scientific research, and rehabilitation. It was formerly founded by Fu Wenshou, a famous pediatrician in my country and the founder of modern child nutrition. The Shanghai Hospital for Children with Distress, founded by Su Zufei and other seniors in 1937, was renamed Shanghai Children's Hospital in 1953 and Children's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003 (it will be renamed Children's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2022).

The hospital currently consists of Beijing West Road campus and Luding Road campus, with an approved bed capacity of 700.

Due to the development needs of the hospital’s clinical business, there is an urgent need to recruit talents.

2. Recruitment objects and conditions

1. Physician position: Those with a master's degree/degree must obtain a qualification certificate of attending or above; or have a doctoral degree.

2. Nursing positions: Bachelor degree or above, five years or more of work experience, employed in junior and above professional and technical positions.

Possess a nurse practitioner certificate, strong ability to work independently, good communication skills, and teamwork spirit. Applicants with working experience in a tertiary hospital will be given priority. Conditions for particularly outstanding candidates may be relaxed appropriately.

3. Medical technical positions: Bachelor degree or above, five years or more of work experience, employed in junior and above professional and technical positions.

4. 5. Administrative positions: Master's degree or above in relevant majors, three years or more of work experience, associate level or above or employed in intermediate or above professional and technical positions, holding relevant professional qualification certificates, working independently Candidates with strong abilities, good communication skills, teamwork spirit, and working experience in a tertiary hospital will be given priority. The conditions for particularly outstanding candidates (including but not limited to doctoral candidates who have obtained a doctoral degree, etc.) may be relaxed appropriately.

Remarks: Persons registered in other provinces and cities applying for the above positions must hold a Shanghai residence permit for one year or more (obtained before February 28, 2022), and it is within the validity period.

3. Recruitment Methods

2. Qualification review

3. Written test and interview

4. Physical examination

5. Inspection

The hospital organizes the inspection, which mainly examines the ideological and political quality, compliance with laws and regulations, moral character and integrity record of the candidates.

6. Determination and announcement of proposed personnel

Based on the results of assessment, physical examination, and inspection, the proposed personnel will be selected on the website of Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the unit’s website. Public notice, the public notice period is 7 days.

If there is no objection to the announcement, it will be reported to the superior authority, Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center, for review and approval, and then reported to the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau for approval and filing.

If there are any objections to the announcement and it affects the employment, the employment decision will be determined based on the verification results.
