The Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province was founded on 1950. It is the affiliated hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the teaching hospital of Xiangya Medical College of Central South University. It is a third-class first-class hospital under the Health Department of Hunan Province, which focuses on neurosurgery and psychiatry and integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation, prevention and health care.
