Dog's tail style is also one of the important signs of dog breed. Therefore, according to the position, thickness, length, coat, broken tail and storage method of the tail, the dog breed can be roughly determined. Common tail shapes are as follows:

Because of the different hot and cold climates, dogs in cold areas usually have furry curly tails, which can keep some body temperature. When the dog sleeps in the snow, the dog's head clings to the tail to get the warmth of the tail. In the south, due to the high temperature, the dog's tail is mostly in the form of vertical tail and rat tail to facilitate heat dissipation.
