Remove the carburetor top cover with a cross knife, take out the throttle valve, and remove the throttle cable from the throttle valve under the condition of compressing the spring with your fingers. Remove the needle clamp, remove the main oil needle from the throttle, press it with your fingers, and check whether the conical surface of the main oil needle is worn. Excessive wear here will make the mixture in the main oil system too rich.

When taking the carburetor with vacuum diaphragm valve, unscrew the vacuum chamber cover screw, and remove the vacuum chamber cover, spring and vacuum plunger combination from the carburetor to check whether the vacuum plunger moves smoothly without tightening. While holding down the main oil needle holder, rotate the main oil needle holder to the left and remove it.

03

Remove the oil filter of the float valve seat, check the contact surface between the needle valve and the valve line of the valve seat for stepped wear and incomplete contact, remove the float chamber cover, and take out the float pin, float and float needle valve in turn to check whether the float is damaged. For the float with hollow structure, check whether the float has any abnormal conditions such as fuel intrusion.

When cleaning, first turn the instrument screwdriver, and then gently screw the adjustment screw of idle mixture to the end. Carefully insert a small toothpick with a suitable diameter into the air hole of the carburetor body. Then you will start cleaning. When cleaning, first turn the carburetor throttle to the maximum position and try to fix it, then drop a few drops of anhydrous alcohol to clean the transition nozzle, then cut a piece of transparent tape paper and stick it on the transition nozzle, and then take out the toothpick stuffed in the air hole. In the same way, push and sweep the idle metering holes for several times until the air metering holes are unobstructed. Finally, gently insert the toothpick into the air hole, clean it with gasoline, rotate it back, and repeatedly push and clean the idle measuring hole by the above method until the idle nozzle sprays a rapid stream of oil, which means that the cleaning is completed.

After cleaning, just install the carburetor of the motorcycle according to the original disassembly steps!
