Chinese medicine in China attracts a large number of overseas tourists to visit the hospital. Facing the huge market demand of Central Asia and Russia and the special geographical advantages of Xinjiang, Xinjiang decided to develop medical tourism resources in development zones and make medical tourism a new growth point of Xinjiang's tourism industry.

Although medical tourism has a certain development in Xinjiang, it is limited to disease treatment and health examination, and its competitiveness is relatively weak, and its resource advantages have not been fully exerted. Therefore, Xinjiang Tourism Association signed a cooperation agreement with the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, and decided to develop medical tourism resources, cultivate a variety of medical tourism products, further expand Xinjiang tourism products and regional characteristics, and attract more tourists from Central Asian countries and Russia.

Xinjiang, as a big channel connecting Europe and Asia, has unique advantages. The medical level and hardware facilities in Xinjiang are ahead of those in Central Asia 15 years. Xinjiang can make use of its unique geographical advantages to attract tourists from Central Asian countries to Xinjiang for tourism and medical consultation, so as to make Xinjiang a first-class medical tourism destination radiating Central Asia.
