On the basis of the former Beijing Capital Airport Group Corporation, Capital Airport Group Corporation was formally established with Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd. (BCIA), Tianjin Binhai International Airport, China Civil Aviation Airport Construction Company, Jin Fei Civil Aviation Economic Development Co., Ltd. and China Civil Aviation Engineering Consulting Company on February 28th, 2002. Capital Airport Group has successively acquired airport groups in seven provinces and cities including Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Jiangxi and Hubei, and is now the largest airport group in China.
Capital Airport Group Corporation has a registered capital of 5 billion yuan and nearly 7,000 employees.
