Selection of saplings
When making double-stem bonsai, plants with different heights and sizes should be selected as bonsai plants, and it is better to select seedlings with short plant type, thin and drooping branches and soil balls.
Preparation of tools
Comfortable workbench with suitable height, as well as pot, soil, filter screen, stone, pruning shears, steel wire, aluminum wire, saw and wire pliers. Mainly brown teapot, the color of the teapot is similar, not too dark. Because maple trees are afraid of water accumulation, there should be holes in the bottom of the basin to facilitate water seepage. The soil should be made of mountain sand, burnt mud ash and loess according to the ratio of 1: 1: 1. It is also necessary to prepare colored compound fertilizer and mix burnt mud ash, loess and chemical fertilizer. So you can serve the basin.
Shangpen
Before putting the pot, remove the excess soil from the root to make the pot have enough space. Trim the redundant main roots, lateral roots and redundant roots on the soil ball to combine the two trees. The first step of putting the basin is to spread a layer of filter screen on the permeable hole at the bottom of the basin. Spread a layer of pebbles on the filter screen. Next, you can put the prepared tree in the pot. A tree is planted in a flowerpot. Look ahead and distinguish between the front and the back. When ready, add soil to the basin until it is 2-3 cm away from the mouth of the basin. You can water it instead of watering it. When soil is added, it should be compacted to prevent trees from moving.
decrease
Prune branches that are too high, dense branches in tree holes, too weak branches and branches that grow too low on the trunk until the modeling is completed.
systems modelling
When modeling, the twigs are first wrapped around the trunk with aluminum wires, and then bent in the required direction. Determine our main branches and extension direction. If you feel that the extension angle of branches can't reach the ideal effect of modeling, you can use aluminum wire to pull it properly. Each trunk branch should be pulled to the ideal position with aluminum wires and wires.
Panza
Banding is mainly aimed at twigs. Although the branches are small, they should be shaped for us without affecting the overall shape perfection. Some weak branches around the trunk, in the chamber of the tree and on the main branches should be given a good direction, wrapped and pulled with aluminum wire, so that they can grow according to our ideal direction and angle. If the branches are not conducive to styling, cut them off with pruning shears. After pruning, it was made into a bonsai, and then the two trunks of Japanese red maple were tied tightly and connected with ropes. After fixing, tie the trunk and the basin together to avoid the transportation position. Tie it up and pour it again until it reaches the bottom of the basin. Within 1-2 years, the shape of Japanese red maple was basically finalized, and then the steel wire and aluminum wire were removed.
