How to trim the hedge?
There are two ways to shape hedges, namely natural and regular. Most natural types are tall hedges, while most conventional types are short hedges.

Natural hedges generally do not need to be trimmed frequently, and the height of hedges can be determined according to the actual situation of hedge growth and the needs of garden layout. When the height of the fence is not up to the required height, cut it as little as possible, and at most trim the part that grows too fast properly to make it grow synchronously with the adjacent plants. Hedges must be controlled when they reach the expected height. Generally, it is pruned after the growth peak to restore it to its original height. After years of cultivation, natural hedges will decline and wither in a certain year. At this time, it is necessary to update, strengthen maintenance and restore vitality.

Ordinary hedges should be trimmed frequently. Plastic surgery must be carried out except in winter and spring dormancy and early onset. Trim with large flat shears in the second and third quarters, and trim 1 ~ 2 times every quarter. After autumn, if the temperature is suitable, the hedge will grow strongly, so it can be mowed again, and it is appropriate to control the hedge growth with light cutting.
