Xinyang, located in the east of Tongbai Mountain and the westernmost part of Dabie Mountain, is one of the four summer resorts in China, one of the first eight national scenic spots opened to the outside world in New China and one of the first 44 national key scenic spots in China.
Jigongshan is a national nature reserve with dense forests and rich biological resources. There are giant salamander, long-tailed pheasant, fragrant fruit tree and other national key protected animals and plants. It is the teaching and research base of Henan Agriculture and Forestry Normal University, medical colleges and other universities.
Jigongshan has the reputation of "the green part is rich in Chu, bordering the Three Rivers". "Buddha's light, sea of clouds, rime, rain songs, Xia Guang, exotic flowers and herbs, strange peaks and rocks, waterfalls and flowing springs" are known as the eight natural landscapes. 2. Nanwan Lake
Also known as Nanhu Lake, located in Xinyang City, Henan Province, is known as the "Pearl of South Henan" and is a natural scenic spot of the famous Nanwan Lake Scenic Area. Surrounded by mountains, the lake is bright and the mountains are lush. The scenery is charming and intoxicating.
3. Leishan
Located in the southeast suburb of Xinyang City, on the south bank of Shihe River, about 6 kilometers away from the city center, it is roughly east-west, high in the west and low in the east, and gradually disappears into the Huainan hills in the east. The main peak is 338 meters above sea level, with an east-west extension of 14 km and a north-south extension of 1 ~ 5 km, covering an area of about 50 square kilometers.

4. Taohuazhai
Taohuazhai Scenic Spot in Jigongshan, Henan Province is located at the southern end of Xinyang City, 8 kilometers east of Jigongshan Scenic Spot, 42 kilometers north of Xinyang City, 360 kilometers away from Zhengzhou City, and 0/70 kilometers south of Hubei Province, with convenient transportation. There are 1 00000 cubic meters of reservoir, 10000 square meters of forest holiday service center and1000 square meters of large parking lot.
There are 5D glass suspension bridges, alpine dry slides, jungle drifting slides, trapeze, jet skis, beaches, wedding parks and alpine meadows in the scenic area.
In addition, there are Taohuaxi, Taohua Seven Tanks, Taohua Women's Bathroom, Xianren Cave, Taohua Lake and other scenic spots, as well as the Taohuazhai wall of more than 600 meters and the remains of a thousand-year-old temple. The story of Liu Hai and Jin Chan also happened in Taohuazhai.
5. Huangbaishan National Forest Park
The national 4A-level tourist area is located in the south of Shangcheng County, Henan Province, in the hinterland of Dabie Mountain, at the junction of Henan, Hubei and Anhui provinces, and is known as the "three provinces where chickens crow and smell".
