Luoding city People's Hospital was founded in 1949 1 1, formerly known as Pok Oi Hospital in the Republic of China. 1953 in may, the county government merged pok oi hospital and county government health center into luoding county people's hospital. It is the only "Grade III A" comprehensive hospital in Yunfu, which integrates medical treatment, rehabilitation, health care, prevention and teaching, including luoding city Baby-friendly Hospital and luoding city Emergency Medical Center. It is Luoding Center, South China Urinary Calculi Etiology Diagnosis and Prevention Base of Chinese Medical Association, luoding city Telemedicine Center, luoding city Trauma Surgery Center, luoding city Cancer Prevention Center, Disinfection Supply Center, luoding city Physical Disability Rehabilitation Technical Guidance Center and City Vision Language Training Center. It is the teaching hospital of Guangdong Higher Medical College, the "two-way referral" cooperative hospital of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, the non-directly affiliated hospital of Conghua College of Guangzhou Medical College, the third and fifth affiliated hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University, zhujiang hospital of Southern Medical University and the technical cooperation hospital of Provincial Stomatological Hospital. A regional medical service center has been formed, covering the health protection task of nearly 3 million people in Luoding and surrounding counties and cities.
