Xiangyang Temple, an ancient temple in Ming Dynasty, is located in Xiuhu Scenic Area at the northern foot of Qipanshan Mountain.

Xiangyang Temple was founded in A.D. 1575. It belongs to Xianzong Buddhism School and is very famous in the local history of Liaoshen. The rebuilt Xiangyang Temple is located in the south bank of Xiuhu Reservoir in Qipanshan Scenic Area, with a planned area of 30,000 square meters and a construction area of nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine square meters.

Xiangyang Temple covers an area of "nine", which means auspicious and noble. There are mainly buildings in the temple, such as Daxiong Hall, Guanyin Hall, Tianwang Hall, Bell and Drum Tower and Archway. Among them, Daxiong Hall is the most magnificent, occupying the highest point of the whole temple, overlooking the overall situation and imposing. There are also Buddhist temples, Xiangyang Springs and other landscapes. The whole temple is lush and solemn, and the layout naturally fluctuates according to the mountain. After re-opening, Xiangyang Temple has been occupied by monks all the year round, and a series of religious activities have been carried out.

According to legend, before entering the customs, Nuerhachi, the Qing emperor, talked with the old abbot here and realized life, so that he could seize the world and establish the Qing Dynasty. Among the Qing Dynasty cultural relics collected by Shenyang Palace Museum, there are more than 20 poems praising Xiangyang Temple alone. This temple once occupied hundreds of acres and had two main halls. The upper hall is dedicated to full-body statues such as Guanyin Bodhisattva and Eighteen Arhats, painted with colorful murals; The lower hall is dedicated to the four heavenly kings. There is a brick tower and a Buddhist temple on the south side of this temple. The plaque at the temple gate is hung high and engraved with the words "Double Peaks and Green Water".

The original temple has been destroyed, and now the temple is rebuilt as it was.
