You can take a bus from Taiyuan bus station to Jinan, and then take a bus from Jinan bus station to Yantai. Both cars are convenient.

If you go from Datong, there are buses from Inner Mongolia passing through Jinan and Beijing. The time to Datong is around 4 pm, and I remember arriving in Jinan at 5 am the next day. After getting off the bus, many trains to Yantai will leave on the same day. If you take the bus, you will arrive in Yantai on 1.2 in the afternoon.

I'll take the train from Datong to Jinan first, and then go to Yantai by bus. The ticket is 1 10 train and 70 bus.
