So far, Tibet Medical College’s professional master’s degree postgraduate education has achieved zero breakthroughs.

Under the correct leadership of the party committee of the college, the Graduate School seized the historical opportunity of degree program construction and launched the application process for the professional degree authorization program for the master’s degree in clinical medicine at the end of 2013. Vice President Tao Xiaohua and Suo Lang Tsering, Tsering, Norbu Thondup, Jigme and other comrades worked overtime to revise and demonstrate the application form repeatedly, laying the foundation for a successful application. Tibet Medical College was established in September 1989. It is the only public and independent Tibetan medicine institution of higher learning in the country and even in the world approved by the Ministry of Education. .

The college has always fully implemented the party’s education policy, insisting on focusing on Tibetan medicine education, taking teaching as the center, promoting teaching with scientific research, teaching with medical support, serving teaching with industry, and developing coordinated development of industry, academia and research. The Tibetan Medicine Factory of the college currently produces hundreds of varieties of Tibetan medicines, 24 of which have obtained national approval numbers.

The college actively carries out foreign cooperation and exchanges, and has repeatedly sent experts to visit and give lectures in 24 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil, and Japan; it has taught Tibetan medicine to scholars in more than 30 countries and regions.
