What is love?

Love refers to the sense of satisfaction and happiness that humans actively give or consciously expect. Love is the positive energy projected by the human spirit. It means that people actively or consciously cherish, care for or satisfy certain human needs that others cannot realize independently by themselves or in some way. Including ideology, spiritual experience, behavioral state, material needs, etc. The basis of love is respect. Therefore, love is an emotion that comes from the heart, a deep feeling between a person and a certain thing. The process that this feeling lasts is also the process of love. Usually seen between people or between people and things. Love is a high sublimation of identification and liking. Different levels of love correspond to different levels of feelings or results

(1) (Sanskrit tr!s!n!a^, Tibetan sred-pa) Twelve Causes and Conditions one. Also known as love branch. Also translated as ‘thirst’, it means a desire as intense as a thirsty person seeking water. It can be divided into six kinds of love: love of color and love of Dharma, or three kinds of love: love of desire, love of existence, and love of non-existence. As soon as the feelings of pain and joy arising from knowledge arise, there will be a strong desire to avoid the painful feelings; there will be a desire to love and pursue the pleasant feelings. These strong desires or desires are love. That is to say, love is used to express the thoughts of love and hate arising from pleasure and pain. Volume 23 of "Daviposha Lun" (Taisho 27·119a): "What is love?" It means that even though you have developed craving, lustful love and love for possessions, you have not pursued it in all directions and worked tirelessly for it, this is the position of love. ’ Volume 9 of "Kusha Lun" (Taisho 29·48c): "If you are greedy for wonderful possessions, lustful love is present, and you have not pursued it extensively, this position is called love." '

It is said that Sarvastivada divides the twelve causes and conditions into two layers of cause and effect in three times, using love, grasping and existence as the three causes. However, Sutra Sutra says that this is contrary to the sutras and advocates that only happiness, etc. The three kinds of love caused by the three feelings are the branches of love. It is also the place of suffering in the desire realm

(2) One of the nine knots: the knot of love (anunaya-sam!yo-jana). Also translated as Suishunjie. Refers to the greedy troubles that stain the environment. Volume 50 of "Daviposha Lun" (Taisho 27·258a): "Why do you love knots?" It is called greed in the three realms. However, greed in the three realms always establishes the knot of love among the nine knots, and among the seven knots, there is the second knot. It is called greed in the desire realm, which is called desire and greed, and greed in the formless realm, which is called greed and sleep. In the Yu Sutra, three loves are established, namely, desire love, color love, and colorless love. ’

The best definition of love should be to treat a living being or object (can be a person, object, animal) sincerely, making it feel happy as a whole, but being loved does not necessarily make you happy.

Love is selfless dedication and giving, including material, emotional, action and other forms. People with love have friends, and people with fraternity have many friends. Love is innate, so it can be considered a trait of nature. In other words, love is one of the essential qualities that a human being must possess. Although the cultural differences among the world's peoples make it difficult to define a universal definition of love, it is not impossible (Sapir-Whorf hypothesis). Love can include soul or spiritual love, love for laws and organizations, love for oneself, love for food, love for money, love for learning, love for power, love for reputation, love for others Love is endless. Different people place different values ??on the love they receive. Love is essentially an abstract concept that can be experienced but difficult to put into words.
