Tea varieties are mainly divided into two categories: group varieties and clonal varieties.

The varieties of the group are: Mengku Daye Tea, Menghai Daye Tea, Fengqing Daye Tea (above are national fine varieties), Yuanjiang Nuocha, Yangta Dabai Tea, Zhenyuan stirrup tea, Lvchun Cocoon Tea, Suishui Daye Tea, Iceland Daye Tea, Bazi White Cat Tea, Yunlong Mountain Daye Tea, Jinggu Daye Tea and so on.
2. Clonal variety: it is the offspring of Yunnan big leaf species through asexual reproduction. Yun Kang 43 and Bai Hao, mainly with long leaves; Yun Kang 1O, Yun Kang14; Mei Yun, Yungui, Ai Feng, etc. Yun Xuan 9 and Yun Kang 37 are descendants of Menghai species.
