Yuhuangding Hospital in Yantai was founded in 1890, and its predecessor was the missionary hospital founded by Presbyterian Church in America. After 130 years' development, it has become the largest comprehensive health care center in Yantai, a third-class general hospital, a regional medical center in Shandong Province, an affiliated hospital of Qingdao University, a teaching hospital of Shandong University, Binzhou Medical College and Weifang Medical College, a postgraduate training base, and a national standardized training base for residents.
