scald

In daily life, skin burns are common, especially in summer, such as hot water bottles bursting or overturning, colliding with each other when boiling water, children playing in the kitchen causing scalding of boiling water, or children accidentally entering uncompetitive hot tubs when taking a bath; The worst thing is that when the pressure cooker cooks rice porridge or mung bean soup, the steam valve fails, causing serious steam burns on the face.

When you encounter these burns, don't panic at first, and don't rush to take off the thin ones.

Such as undershirts and stockings, should be washed with cold water immediately. Only after cooling can you carefully take off your close-fitting clothes to avoid tearing and scalding blisters. The purpose of cold water washing is to relieve pain, reduce exudation and swelling, thus avoiding or reducing the formation of blisters. The washing time is about half an hour or more, so as not to feel pain when stopping washing. The general water temperature is around 20℃. Avoid using ice water to avoid frostbite. If you burn your fingers, you can also take a bath with cold water. Cold compress can be used on the face and other parts where you can't wash your face or take a bath. After cold water treatment, dry the wound, then apply some ointment drugs such as blue oil hydrocarbon and green ointment thinly, and then wrap it properly for 1~2 days to prevent blisters. But you can only show your face without clothes. If blisters form, you can use a sterile syringe to suck or cut a small hole to drain water. If the blister is broken, dry it with a sterile cotton ball and keep it dry, so as not to make the water accumulate into blocks. Do not apply purple liquid or mercuric chloride after scald, so as not to affect the observation of wound changes after injury. Large or severe burns should be sent to the hospital immediately after general emergency care at home. It is wrong to soak in soy sauce after scalding, because soy sauce itself contains a lot of bacteria, which is not conducive to heat dissipation and is easy to cause wound infection. Don't apply toothpaste after scalding.

Pay attention to the cleanliness and dryness of the wound surface for skin burns, and avoid soaking again after cold water washing. After about 2~3 days, the wound can be dried. There is no need to take medicine at this time. It takes about 10 days to remove the scab and recover. If it doesn't heal at that time, please ask a doctor to see if it is caused by deep burns or infection. Antibiotics are generally not used after scalding. If 1~2 days later, the wound is still red, swollen and painful, then infection is suspected and can be treated under the guidance of a doctor to avoid unnecessary pain.

Scald grade

The first-degree injury and scald only damage the surface layer of the skin, with slight redness, no blisters and obvious pain. Take off your clothes and socks immediately, soak the wound in cold water for half an hour, and then wipe the wound with sesame oil and vegetable oil.

Second-degree injuries and scalds are dermal injuries, local swelling and pain, and blisters of different sizes. For larger blisters, the edge of the blister can be broken with disinfectant needle to release water, and then wrapped with hot paste with moderate tightness.

Third-degree injury, scald under the skin, fat, muscle and bone damage, gray or reddish brown. At this time, the wound should be bandaged with a clean cloth and sent to the hospital in time. Never apply purple liquid medicine or ointment to the wound, which will affect the observation and treatment of the disease.

Patients with severe injuries and burns may go into shock or stop breathing and heartbeat during transfer, so artificial respiration or chest massage should be performed immediately. When the wounded are thirsty, a small amount of hot tea or light salt water can be used, and it is forbidden to drink a lot of boiled water in a short time, which will lead to brain edema of the wounded.

If you get burned by fire and water,

The principle of fire and water scald treatment is to remove the heat source first, leave the scene quickly, and adopt various fire extinguishing methods, such as soaking in water, spraying water, lying down and rolling on the spot, immediately taking off wet clothes or cutting them open, spraying water, soaking limbs with cold water, etc., until the pain disappears. You can also cover the wound with a wet towel or sheet and spray cold water on it. Don't burst the bubble.

Fire and water burns can be divided into first-degree burns (erythema, skin redness with burning sensation), second-degree burns (blisters and blisters in the affected area) and third-degree burns (necrosis and skin peeling). For a small area of mild burns, they can be treated at home. After cleaning the wound, Jing Wanhong and Bao Mei Run Burn Ointment can be applied externally. For large-area burns, it is advisable to send them to the hospital as soon as possible.

The treatment of scald is the most important. First, shave the hair around the injured area and cut off the long nails. Wash the healthy skin around the wound with soapy water and clean water, and then scrub and disinfect it with 0. 1% bromogeramine solution or 75% alcohol. Rinse the wound with isotonic saline to remove foreign bodies and dirt. Protect the blisters from being damaged. For large blisters, use an empty needle to extract the blood bubble fluid, or cut it at a low position to release the bubble fluid. If the blister is broken or seriously polluted, cut off the blister, gently roll it with gauze, cover it with a layer of liquid paraffin gauze or a thin layer of vaseline gauze, add multiple layers of degreasing gauze and cotton pad, and press and wrap it evenly. Burns can also be treated by bandaging therapy and exposure therapy.

Burns are often complicated with infection, so antibiotics should be added and tetanus antitoxin can be injected.

Treatment of scald 14

Treatment of scald 1:

Wash the wound with cold water first, and then soak it in cold water for half an hour. Generally speaking, the earlier the soaking time, the lower the water temperature (not less than 5℃ to avoid frostbite), and the better the effect. However, if the wound is blistered or damaged, it should not be soaked to prevent infection.

Treatment of scald II:

Gently apply light salt water to the burned area to diminish inflammation.

Treatment of scald III:

Applying soy sauce or honey, lard, dog oil and ginger juice to the affected area can achieve good results.

Scald treatment IV:

Mix egg white, cooked honey or sesame oil and apply it to the injured part, which has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Treatment of scald five:

Cut a few slices of raw pear and stick them on the scald, which has the effect of convergence and pain relief.

Treatment of scald 6:

After scalding the child, add 25 grams of black beans to the boiled juice and apply it to the wound.

Treatment of scald 7:

For mild scald, dry waste tea residue can be baked on fire, slightly burnt, then ground into fine powder, mixed with vegetable oil to make paste, and applied to the affected area to reduce swelling and relieve pain.

Scald treatment VIII:

Immediately after scalding hands and feet, pour alcohol into a basin or bucket, and immerse all the injured parts in alcohol to relieve pain, eliminate redness and prevent foaming. If soaked in 1~2 hours, the scalded skin can gradually return to normal.

If the wound is not in the easy-to-soak part, soak a piece of cotton wool in white wine, take it out and apply it to the wound. You can pour wine on the cotton wool at any time to prevent it from drying out. Good results can be obtained in a few hours.

Treatment of scald 9:

After the skin is scalded by oil or boiled water, sesame oil, flower oil or vegetable oil (such as sesame oil) can be directly applied to the injured surface. If the skin is not broken, it will usually stop the pain in 5 minutes.

Treatment of scald 10:

Applying chlortetracycline eye ointment to the wound will reduce swelling and relieve pain in a few minutes.

Treatment of scald eleven:

After scalding, apply some soap immediately, which can temporarily reduce swelling and relieve pain.

Treatment of scald 12:

After mild scald, immediately soak the injured part with kerosene, which can relieve pain in a few minutes, and has the functions of detumescence and anti-foaming.

Treatment of scald XIII:

Trionyx sinensis 1, burnt ash or a little borneol, mixed with sesame oil, and applied to the injured face three times a day.

14. Treatment of scald:

When you burn a small area, apply some toothpaste immediately, which can not only relieve pain, but also inhibit blisters. The blisters that have already started will also subside on their own, and it is not easy to be infected. Small area of second degree burns, 1 time will be fine.
