Apple tree grafting method
1. Socket method: twist the scion branches into peeled hollow tubes, cut them as required, and then put them on the branches of grafted seedlings.

2. Grafting method: remove the crown of the grafted sapling, cut the epidermis into a T-shaped opening at its base with a knife, then trim the hollow scion neatly according to the shape and size of the T-shaped opening, insert it into the opening of the grafted tree, and wrap it.

3. When apple trees are grafted, the selection of scions is also very important. We should choose those fruit trees that are robust, high-yielding, high-quality and free from pests and diseases, and choose new branches with full buds from the periphery of the crown as scions. In addition, after selecting scions, we need to cut them, insert them in barrels or pots, and cultivate them for about two days, which will increase its grafting survival rate.

When apple trees are grafted, time is very important, mostly between June and August or between March and April in spring. Moreover, apple tree grafting can be divided into tooth grafting and branch grafting. Most of the scions are tooth buds. This kind of grafting needs to be carried out between June and August, because only then can its scion grow well and the success rate of grafting will be higher.
