When planting cedar, we must strictly choose the seeds. Its seeds are relatively small. In order to improve the germination rate, we should choose those seeds with full and complete grains, preferably new ones, which will be more energetic and have better germination effect. Old and damaged seeds must not be used, which will greatly reduce the germination rate.
? 02? Accelerating germination
Before sowing cedar seeds, germination must be accelerated. Soak the seeds in cold water for four or five days, and then take them out for disinfection. It can be easily done by soaking in potassium permanganate for half an hour. After that, the seeds need to be washed with clean water and thoroughly dried before sowing. Wet seeds will affect germination.
