20 degrees of cubital valgus is unqualified in the conscription physical examination. You should use a ruler to measure during the conscription physical examination. Normally the angle is 10 to 15 degrees. If the cubital valgus exceeds the normal value, the elbow joint will turn outwards so severely that it may even pull the ulnar nerve, causing local irritation and inducing ulnar neuritis, which is closely related to traumatic factors or congenital factors. If it does not affect your normal work and life, you can choose to observe conservative treatment. The normal elbow joint has a slight valgus when fully extended, about 10° for men and 15° for women. This everted angle is called the carrying angle. If this angle increases, that is, the forearm is too abducted, which is called cubitus valgus deformity.
