First, the scale effect. The unit fermentation yield is about twice that of the industry (12-14g/l vs.6-7g/l), and the production cost of hyaluronic acid keeps decreasing. At present, the production capacity of hyaluronic acid is 470 tons, including 320 tons in Jinan plant and 0/50 tons in Dongying plant. In June of 20021year, the main construction of Tianjin factory was completed, and the production equipment began to be debugged one after another. It is estimated that the production capacity of bioactive substances such as hyaluronic acid will increase by 300 tons in the future.

Second, specific molecular weight segment control. Huaxi Bio has achieved an industrial technological breakthrough with the molecular weight range of hyaluronic acid products as low as 400Da and as high as 4,000kDa by virtue of the leading enzymolysis technology and the precise control technology of high, medium and low molecular weight segment controlled fermentation and purification. Products include eye drops, injections and hyaluronic acid for medical devices.
