A, raw material analysis-material review
Before processing, it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of the actual situation of raw materials, that is, to master the specific situation of the processed object. It's like a doctor's treatment. Only through analysis can we prescribe the right medicine and the right medicine according to the materials.
Turn on the light. It is an important content for experts to analyze the internal situation of jadeite original stone through lighting (as shown in the following figure) before bidding. As far as this stone is concerned, the coloring place is obvious and the color situation is clear, which belongs to the category with little difficulty.
Second, cutting stone: refers to the first knife to cut stone.
How to cut the knife is the key. If it is not unified, it is entirely possible to change from one million to one hundred thousand. After careful observation and judgment, choose the direction of incision. If there are cracks, the first cut is mainly along the cracks.
Note: ancient jade cutting methods:
1, original method: burning-making it into small pieces, disadvantages: the explosion point is difficult to control and the damage is serious. Later it was improved to partial combustion.
2. Wire drawing (wire saw): Take iron wire and emery (sic) as abrasives, add water to cool, and pull back and forth to untie the jade. Advantages: no damage to jade, no waste of raw materials. Disadvantages: slow.
3. pedal ship unloader: used in Qing dynasty, but now it is electric. Round iron thallium copper plate, rotating shaft, belt or adhesive tape, the rotating shaft is driven by pedal, and emery is continuously added, thus slowly cutting jadeite.
Third, slice and prepare materials.
After the first knife, the color, crack distribution and water head of the jade material will be clearer, and then the preparation for slicing will begin.
The principle of cutting:
(1) Pay special attention to pigments, and take the principle of not destroying green.
If the materials are well opened, used and transported, you can get more profits, so experience is very important for the cutting master.
(2) Cut in from the worst part.
Before you gain experience, start with the worst part, and you won't lose too much.
(3) Make the finished product as large as possible.
The bigger and harder the finished product, the higher the value. If you can make bracelets, make bracelets first, and the rest as trinkets. Many cracks can only be made into flowers or carvings.
(4) the principle of dual use
Flowers go hand in hand with plain noodles. Try to be plain as you can, and don't die across the board.
Thank you for your adoption.
