School of Social Work (SSW) of Boston University, founded in 1940, offers the following degree programs at the postgraduate level, namely:
Master of Social Work: Two-year program, certified by Social Work Education Committee, with full-time, part-time and distance education programs. The program requires applicants to have a bachelor's degree, GPA 3.0 or above. If the GPA is lower than 3.0, they must submit GRE or MAT test scores. Applicants should have a general educational background, such as social, behavioral and biological sciences, and it is better if the courses they study are related to culture, social status and social problems.
