The first is to choose soil and seeds.
Grapes can adapt to all kinds of soil except heavy saline-alkali soil, and the soil must be deeply ploughed, and more organic fertilizers should be applied to improve soil fertility. Grape varieties should be early maturing and big fruit varieties suitable for potted plants.
The second is to cut in the open space.
In the north, grapes can be cut in mid-April. When cutting, the cuttings should be slightly inclined and completely inserted into the soil, and the upper bud eye is 1 cm away from the ground. Grape runs north-south, with spacing 17 ~ 20cm and row spacing 130 ~ 150cm.
The third is on-site management.
After the cuttings germinate, one main vine is left for each plant to grow and other auxiliary branches are removed. When the seedlings are 30 cm high, in order to prevent lodging, it is necessary to set up a picture frame and tie the grape seedlings evenly on the frame wire. When the seedlings grow to 80 cm high, the main vine should be cored. After coring, four secondary branches are left on the upper part to grow, and each secondary branch grows five leaves before coring. After entering June, spray Bordeaux 200 times every 15 days. In order to control pests, after grape germination, except that no pesticides can be used within 10 days, low-dose pesticides with high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue should be sprayed once every 10 days.
After defoliation in winter, a deep ditch with a width of 33 cm and a depth of 33 cm is opened in the middle of the rows, then pond mud, cakes and farmyard manure are applied, and the soil is sealed after application.
The fourth is basin pressing.
It is best to choose a ceramic basin with a diameter of 35 ~ 50 cm, which is permeable and breathable, and the basin soil should be rich in organic matter. Before the grapes germinate in spring, the pots should be buried in the soil with a spacing of about 35 cm along the line, and the pot surface is slightly lower than the ground. Gently pull down the branches and vines with full bud eyes and bearing capacity, and the vines are not less than 80 cm long, press them into the basin, fill them with soil and step on them. Leave 4 ~ 5 full buds on the pot soil, then insert a thin rod with a length of 120 cm and tie branches and vines to it. After 20 days of grape germination, the branches and vines in the basin should be girdled to make them take root early and more. The girdling part is at the end of the pot near the root of the plant, and the girdling length is 2 cm, so that the cortex is completely peeled off. After the cuttings bear fruit, leave five leaves to pick the core on the ear, so that the plants in the pot are less than 120 cm. Leave 4 ~ 6 ears of fruit in each pot. Before flowering, half of each ear should be removed to ensure that the ear is neat and the fruit grains are uniform.
