Since 1958 M 16 was selected by the US military, there has been a wave of small caliber rifles in the world. In order to meet the needs of the market, HK Company has developed several rifles with different calibers on the basis of G3 rifle. HK33 is the first automatic rifle with 5.56 rifle bullets developed on the basis of G3 rifle. HK33 is basically not equipped in Germany, but it is quite popular in third world countries. The export type is generally called HK33E, and E stands for export products.
HK33 is usually equipped with 25 steel magazines and 40 aluminum magazines. Recently, HK Company launched 30 rounds of steel magazines to law enforcement agencies and the military market. These magazines are very strong and can withstand the rolling of vehicles. At present, the troops equipped with HK33 are Malaysia, Chile and Thailand. Turkey began to license the production of HK33 on 1999. In addition, some law enforcement agencies in some countries or regions have adopted HK33 in small quantities.
Most models of HK33 series are HK33A2 and A3, the former is fixed stock and the latter is flexible stock. And the short tube HK33K.
During the Vietnam War, American H&; Company R also tried to copy HK33, calling it T233. The structural principle of T223 is no different from that of HK33, except that it is equipped with 20 rounds and 40 rounds of magazines. At the beginning of Vietnam War, M 16 was equipped with 20 magazines, and 30 magazines were hard to find (at that time, the 30 magazines trial-produced by Colt often went wrong), so SEALs ordered a small number of T223 and 40 magazines to be used in Vietnam battlefield. The transmitter provides shooting data and sets the starting range. The AR-200 1 rifle adopts a telescopic butt, and the position and shape of the cheek are improved, so that soldiers can aim comfortably against their shoulders after wearing gas masks.
The speed machine has four gears: safety, single engine, three engines and full automatic. The lever magazine is used to catch bamboo shoots. It is located between the trigger holder and the magazine, and the magazine can be released by pushing up. However, the magazine is made by NATO STANAG magazine, which is common with M 16.
