It likes light, and it should be placed in a warm and sunny environment all year round, which is the key to flowering.

2. Temperature

Spring and autumn are the suitable growth periods of Yushu, and the suitable growth temperature is 20-30℃.

In summer, the high temperature should be shaded to avoid direct sunlight, and the growth will be slow if it exceeds 38℃.

In winter, it is placed in a sunny place indoors, and the room temperature is 7- 10℃. If the temperature is as low as 0℃, it will freeze to death.

Yushu is a succulent and pulpy plant, which is very drought-tolerant. It is not advisable to water too much at ordinary times, and water it when it is wet or dry.

During the growth period of Yushu, water should be poured 1 time every 2-3 days, but no water can be accumulated. When cultivating outdoors, it is necessary to avoid heavy rain, otherwise there will be too much water in the roots, which will easily lead to the death of rotten roots.

After autumn, water should be gradually reduced, and in winter, the soil in the basin should be slightly dry.

5. Preventive measures

(1) pruning. Yushu pruning can be done according to everyone's hobbies. If the crown is round and plump, the long branches will be cut off when pruning, which will make the crowded branches overlap too much, so that the external crown of the plant is complete and the internal branches are properly spaced. If the tree is long, the old trunk is thick and the crown is not round, it can be trimmed or stump bonsai, and some branches and leaves can be cut off according to the needs of modeling.
