What if diesel engine oil is mixed with water?
If the diesel engine oil is improperly kept or mixed with water during use, it will affect the lubrication effect, and the water should be removed at this time.

What about diesel engine oil mixed with water? How to deal with diesel engine oil mixed water? Please check the following details:

Solution of diesel engine oil mixed with water

You can put the oil in a test tube and heat it to 1 10 to 120 degrees Celsius. If there is a "click" sound in the oil, it means that there is water in the oil.

If there is water in the engine oil, the engine oil can be heated to 1 10 to 120 degrees Celsius by indirect heating. When the bubbles in the engine oil disappear, the engine oil is cooled to normal temperature and the water is removed.

If the engine oil has been slightly emulsified, the following methods can be adopted for treatment: collect the emulsified engine oil of the same brand, add phenol (carbolic acid) with the weight of 1% ~ 3% of the oil weight as demulsifier, stir and heat it to 50 ~ 80 degrees Celsius, let it stand for 4 hours or longer, and remove the moisture in the lower layer after the oil-water layer is formed, and it can be used.

If the thickened engine oil is emulsified, it can be treated by air drying: put the emulsified thickened engine oil into a container equipped with a clean serpentine heating pipe, heat it with saturated steam through the serpentine pipe to raise the oil temperature to 1 10 to 120 degrees Celsius, and at the same time, introduce clean compressed air into the container for stirring to evaporate the water.

Until the milky white of the oil disappears, the original transparent color is restored, and then it is cooled to normal temperature, so it can be used.

Treatment measures of diesel engine oil leakage

Nozzle oil return: Nozzle is a precision part.

If the diesel engine uses unclean diesel oil or the machine is used for a long time, it will return oil because of the wear of the nozzle.

However, due to the high cost and uneconomical replacement of the nozzle, in order to avoid oil leakage, the oil can be led back to the oil tank or into the diesel filter through the oil return pipe.

If the oil return pipe is damaged, you can use a plastic pipe to introduce the oil into your own container, filter it and then pour it back into the oil tank.

Oil leakage in the oil conveying part: it can be properly handled according to the situation: the gasket of the hollow screw of the oil pipeline is uneven, and the gasket can be removed, polished and padded. If the problem cannot be solved, you can replace it with a new gasket, or you can cut it into a gasket with a thick soft plastic material. The oil leakage at the joint between plastic oil pipeline and metal is mostly caused by the hardening or rupture of plastic oil pipeline. You can cut off the hardened and cracked part, then scald it with hot water, put it on the metal joint while it is hot, and then fasten it with metal wire. The metal oil pipeline leaks oil when it breaks, and the broken part can be welded with copper.

In addition, in order to prevent the tubing from cracking, when installing the tubing, the curvature should be appropriate, and the tube body should not contact the fuselage to avoid wear.

Oil leakage of valve cover: When the valve cover is installed, it is easy to deform and leak oil if the fastening force is too large.

At this time, the leaking valve cover can be removed, hammered carefully with a wooden stick to make its contact surface smooth, and then the gasket can be installed.
