1 Contraindications for Breast Cancer Surgery
(1) Indications for Surgery
Radical mastectomy has become a common treatment for breast cancer in the past century because of its reasonable operation and clear curative effect. Standard approach to breast cancer. In the past half century, many exploratory modifications have been made to breast cancer surgery, but the general trend is in two aspects: conservatism and expansion, which is still debated today. Partial mastectomy and total mastectomy are representative surgeries of conservative surgery. Radiotherapy is required after surgery, and the radiation dose varies, generally 30 to 70Gy. It can achieve better results for strictly selected localized early-stage cancers. However, it is difficult to draw conclusions as to whether it can be used as a routine treatment for early-stage breast cancer and how to accurately select this type of early-stage cancer. (2) Contraindications for surgery
1. Systemic contraindications:
① Patients with distant metastasis of tumors.
②Old and frail patients who cannot tolerate surgery.
③Those with poor general condition and cachexia.
④Those with important organ dysfunction who cannot tolerate surgery.
2. Contraindications for local lesions: Stage III patients with one of the following conditions:
① Peet-orange edema of the breast skin exceeding half of the breast area;
< p> ②Satellite nodules appear on the breast skin;③Breast cancer invades the chest wall;
④Clinical examination shows parasternal lymph node enlargement and is confirmed to be metastasis;
⑤ Edema of the upper limb on the affected side;
⑥ Supraclavian lymph node pathology confirmed to be metastasis;
⑦ Inflammatory breast cancer. There are two of the following five conditions:
①Tumor rupture;
②Petourite-like edema of the breast skin accounting for less than 1/3 of the total breast area;
③ The cancer tumor is fixed to the pectoralis major muscle;
④ The maximum length of the axillary lymph node exceeds 2.5cm;
⑤ The axillary lymph node is adherent to each other or to the skin or deep tissue.
