Is it normal for wool sweater to shed?
It is normal for sweaters to lose their hair slightly, and too much loss is a quality problem. Wool is a kind of fiber, which is easy to comb when it grows. Sweaters made of wool twisted into threads are generally not easy to pilling, but wool fibers will break after long-term wear, which is one of the reasons why wool falls off. Improper cleaning, wool is protein structure, and it likes weak acidity. Washing powder is alkaline, which will destroy the protein structure of woolen sweater, make the wool of woolen sweater fragile, lose its softness, and make the fiber tensile force worse and easy to break. In order to pursue the soft feel of sweaters, sweater manufacturers will reduce the curl, short wool fibers and insufficient cohesion, which will cause hair loss.
What should I do if the wool sweater is seriously shed?
1. If the sweater falls off seriously, it can be glued with transparent glue, and it is the kind that is wide and sticky. After the sweater is lightly glued, it is not easy to fall off again, even if it falls off again, it will only fall off a little.
2. Sweaters, especially long sweaters, fall off easily. You can dissolve a tablespoon of starch in half a basin of cold water, soak it in the starch solution and take it out. Don't twist it. Drain the water, put it in water with a small amount of washing powder, soak it for 5 minutes, then rinse it off, and then put it in a net bag to hang and drain. Sweaters don't like to fall off.
Don't wash the new sweater, cut the paper and price tag inside, and then put it in the freezer for 24 hours with the original packaging. Take it out after 24 hours. Don't wash it right away. Be sure to wait for the clothes to get cold before washing them.
How to clean the sweater?
Hand washing:
1, prepare a pot of warm water, control the water temperature at about 35 degrees, add a little neutral detergent, a little salt and vinegar (which has the function of fixing color and protecting wool fiber) and melt it evenly for later use.
2. Turn out the inner layer of the sweater and immerse it in the completely dissolved detergent for five minutes (slowly squeeze the clothes until they are soaked).
3. After soaking, gently rub the dirty parts of the sweater (such as cuffs and neckline) with a small amount of detergent, then gently rinse the whole dress with clear water, and gently pinch off most of the water by hand (don't wring it out hard).
4. Take out the sweater and lay it flat to dry until it is half dry, and then put it in a ventilated place to dry. (It only takes 1-2 minutes to prevent the sweater from being deformed due to water gravity.).
Machine wash:
1. For the preparation before machine washing, please refer to the steps of hand washing 1 and 2.
2. Before the sweater enters the machine for washing, turn it upside down and put it into the laundry bag, and then put it into the washing machine.
How to iron the sweater?
1. Make sure the sweater is washed and dried before ironing.
2. When ironing the sweater, let the sweater shrink back to its original state first, so as to ensure the ironing is smooth when ironing the garment surface.
3. Sweaters need ironing board or shaping, and sweaters are suitable for ironing with steam iron at 135 ~ 145℃. Worsted woolen sweater is suitable for ironing with 120 ~ 160℃ electric iron. When ironing, it is best to cover the sweater with a soaked white cloth, and do not iron it directly at high temperature.
4. Pay attention to the ironing procedure: first iron the cuffs and neckline, then iron the garment surface, and finally iron the crease.
5. When ironing, the pressure should not be too high, and it is best to hang it and keep it at about 1-2cm with the sweater. It mainly uses heat to turn the moisture on the wet cloth into steam and distribute it to the inside of the sweater, so as to achieve the purpose of ironing, and stop ironing when the wet cloth is half dry.
6. For sweaters that have been slightly deformed, such as shrinking sleeves, it is necessary to iron them horizontally and repeatedly. Immediately after ironing each part, take off the wet cloth and stretch it with both hands.
7. Sweaters can be directly ironed by steam electric iron or hanging machine (strong steam series is required), the ironing time is slightly longer, and the temperature is controlled below 150℃. Shake the ironed sweater gently to remove water vapor and heat, set it with washboard, and dry it.
