Introduction of Wenshang Buddha tooth
The tooth of Buddha in Wenshang is recorded as the tooth relic of Sakyamuni Buddha in Buddhist scriptures. According to the Nirvana Sutra, the Buddha touched it with great compassion, so he broke the diamond body into a relic, leaving only four teeth. Tang Yijing translated "Each has his own chores": the Buddha has four tooth relics, one in the Buddhist temple, one in Gandhara, one in Guo Jia, Ling Jie, and one in Hailong Palace in Aroma.
