Is autologous fat filling harmful? Is autologous fat filling risky?
There are many ways of plastic surgery, and now more and more people are beginning to accept micro-plastic surgery. Micro-shaping may not seem obvious, but it can generally achieve the desired effect. Autologous fat filling is a common way in micro-plastic surgery, but some people worry that it will be unsafe. Is it harmful to autologous fat filling? Is autologous fat filling risky?

1, low fat survival rate

Low fat survival rate is the most obvious disadvantage of autologous fat filling.

Autologous fat filling is achieved by fat transplantation. If more fat is filled at one time, it will easily lead to the loss of blood oxygen supply of transplanted fat, leading to calcification or induration of fat. If the fat survival rate is low, it means that the body needs to undergo multiple fat extraction and filling, which is not good for health.

2, it is easy to lead to a big face and a small face.

When filling the whole face with autologous fat, we should pay attention to the principle of fat extraction and complete it at one time. If the extracted adipocytes are complete and round, the contact time between adipocytes and air will affect the quality of adipocytes. When injecting fat cells into various parts of the face, the injection and rehearsal of fat cells require doctors to have very skilled skills. If the doctor is inexperienced, the absorption degree of the two sides may be different when injecting the symmetrical part of the face, leading to the phenomenon of big face and small face.

3, easy to cause skin infection

If the disinfection before autologous fat filling operation is not strict, or the patient has chronic inflammation in the affected area, autologous fat filling operation will easily lead to the risk of skin infection. Generally, 5-7 days after operation, the infected site will be red, swollen and painful, and severe local skin will be flushed and blue, or the pinhole will not heal and cause pus.

4, hematoma or oozing blood

Autologous fat filling, if improperly performed, will increase the risk of hematoma or blood exudation. There are many nerves and blood vessels in human face, and the blood vessels in subcutaneous tissue or other parts are very small. If the skin is damaged during liposuction, it is easy to cause hematoma, and this phenomenon is more likely to occur if the patient's own coagulation mechanism is disordered. Furthermore, if the local wound is large and there are too many strong gaps in the tissue during liposuction, it is easy to cause the problem of blood exudation and skin ecchymosis.

5, postoperative matters needing attention

1. 2 to 3 days after autologous fat filling is the peak of swelling, so putting on a corset immediately after liposuction can help control swelling.

2. When autologous fat is filled, liposuction will lead to local wounds on the skin. Don't let the skin of liposuction part contact with water before removing stitches, because bacteria in water can easily enter the skin along the wound, leading to inflammation and infection of the wound.

3. At the initial stage of autologous fat filling, swelling and soreness will appear in the affected area, and even some will appear congestion and bruising. This is because the small blood vessels in the skin are covered by the skin during liposuction, and most of the bruises will slowly disappear and recover in a week or so, so pay more attention to rest during this time to avoid postoperative bleeding.
