(1) Cutting propagation. Cuttings can be cut in spring, summer and autumn, and the rainy season in the south is the best. Choose 1 ~ 2-year-old robust and full branches, or use semi-lignified branches of that year as cuttings in summer. Cut it into a length of 15 ~ 20cm, cut the lower end near the internode into a smooth slope, and immediately insert it into the soil, or treat the cutting base with 200 mg/kg indolebutyric acid 10 second. After cutting, it is watered and permeable, and takes root in about 20 days. Flowers can bloom in the second year after transplanting. You can also put the branches pruned in winter in the cellar and bury them with wet sand for cutting in spring.
(2) Propagation by ramets. The mother plant of honeysuckle. Digging during dormancy, properly pruning the roots and stems on the ground, and then cultivating in individual plants, with 1 ~ 2 plants per hole, and flowering in the next year.
(3) Layered propagation. Carve the 1 annual branches near the ground and bury them in the soil for about 10 cm. If the branches are long, they can be bent and buried in the soil. The next spring, dig it out and cultivate it.
(4) Seeding and seedling raising. When the berries turn black, the seeds are ripe. After harvesting, it is rubbed in clear water, and the full seeds that sink to the bottom of the water are taken out. Sow at harvest, or dry and store in the spring of the following year. About 40 days before spring sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours, take them out and pile up 3 ~ 5 times of wet sand layer to accelerate germination. When 50% of the seeds are exposed to white, the seeds should be sown according to the row spacing of 20 cm and the width of 10 cm, and the sowing amount per square meter of seedbed should be 1.5 ~ 2 g, and the seedlings should be covered with grass for heat preservation and moisture preservation, and it takes about 10 days to emerge.
