Some questions about climbing Mount Huashan in July

I just came back from climbing Mount Huashan on July 3rd. I can share my experience for reference.

First, it is very hot in July. If you are young or I consider myself to be in good physical condition, so just wear normal attire and add a long-sleeved shirt. The sun viewing platform at Dongfeng is a cold spot, but it’s not unbearable, and the time is only two or three hours, so it’s okay. When I went up It’s a sunny day, so I can’t guarantee a rainy day. Second, the cost is about 120 yuan, because there are three of us, and one person is charged half the price. For three people plus insurance and other things, it’s 280 yuan. Regarding the tickets for going up the mountain, One thing to remind you is that if you are a student, it is best to bring your student ID card. Tickets for cable cars can be halved. If you have ID cards from Weinan City and counties, you can also halve it. If you have an acquaintance, you can borrow it. Haha. As for other expenses on the mountain, I feel the same as other scenic spots. They are a bit expensive, but not unaffordable. For example, water costs 1 yuan at the foot of the mountain, and 10 yuan for 3 bottles on the mountain. Because going up the mountain is very tiring, it is recommended to bring less things. Wonderful. For example, just bring enough water to drink on the way up the mountain. It only costs more than three yuan to buy it on the mountain. The sweat you make by bringing extra things can be worth the weight of a bottle of water. You can still buy water and food on the mountain. Convenient. Fourth, an additional reminder is that it is best to prepare a pair of shoes for hiking. Never wear leather shoes or sandals to go up the mountain. The above is my experience.
