Does the rhinoplasty prosthesis need to be removed?
Need to take out the rhinoplasty prosthesis:

1. After augmentation rhinoplasty with prosthesis, the nose is swollen and congested. Rhinoplasty requires a cavity at the back of the nose to implant a prosthesis. Due to surgical trauma, postoperative swelling and congestion are inevitable. Generally about a week, it can basically disappear. If the long-term swelling does not recover well, the prosthesis needs to be removed.

2. Prosthesis skew is one of the common complications after augmentation rhinoplasty. Part of the reasons are related to their own conditions, such as distortion of nasal septum and deviation of nasal columella, and also caused by the operation itself, such as insufficient separation cavity and inadequate prosthesis sculpture.

3. The prosthesis is exposed, which is mainly related to the operation, such as the separation cavity is too shallow, the prosthesis sculpture is too thick and too sharp, and of course the nose is also impacted after the operation.
