What are the plastic ways to protect grapes?
There are two ways to shape grapes in protected areas: hedge frame and shed frame. Hedgehogs can be divided into single-wall fences and double-wall fences. Single-wall hedge frame can be divided into single-wall vertical and single-wall horizontal.

When the row spacing is 2m (1) and the plant spacing is 1.0 ~ 1.5m, two vines are selected for each plant in the planting year as the late fruiting mother branch. The two branches are vertically introduced and bound on the frame surface of the single-wall fence frame; When the new branch grows to 2 meters, the core is removed, leaving only the top 1 ~ 2 secondary branch to continue to grow, and all other secondary branches are smoothed. For the secondary tip left at the top, 3 ~ 4 leaves are left for repeated coring. After defoliation, the top meristem remains about 1.5 m, which is the mother branch of the second year.

After the bud eyes germinate in the second year, in order to promote the uniform germination of the bud eyes and prevent baldness in the middle and lower bud eyes, the fruiting mother branches can be tied horizontally on the 1 wire or flat on the ground, and then tied upright on the frame surface after the bud eyes germinate evenly. In order to make the fruiting mother branch grow sturdily and prevent the fruiting part from moving out, we can choose 1 robust new shoots at the base of two fruiting mother vines as the preparatory branches of the fruiting mother branch, but instead of making the fruiting mother branch, tie it between rows of hedgerows to promote the robust growth, and shape it according to the method of keeping the fruiting mother branch in the previous year.

When pruning in the winter of the following year, cut off the fruiting mother branch selected in the previous year and replace the original fruiting mother branch with a new prepared mother branch. It will be trimmed like this in the future.

(2) In the planting year of single-wall horizontal type, each plant chooses 1 strong new shoot as the bearing mother branch. The binding, coring, and auxiliary tip handling of the new tip are the same as those of the single-wall vertical type.

When pruning in winter, tie the 1 annual new branch, that is, the fruiting mother branch, to the 1 iron wire and cut it off at the junction of the two plants.

In the spring of the following year, after the bud eyes germinate, select 1 strong buds every 15 ~ 20cm in the horizontal direction of the fruiting mother branch, tie them upward after the new shoots are sent out, and erase all the redundant buds. Under 1 iron wire, select 1 thick vine as the mother branch to prepare the fruit, and bind it between rows of hedges. If there are inflorescences, they should be thinned out to promote their robust growth and form full bud eyes for the next year's germination and fruiting branches.

When pruning in the winter of the following year, the original fruiting mother branches are cut off and replaced with prepared fruiting mother branches. Trim in this way in the future.

(3) Double-wall fence frame, with row spacing of 2.5m, plant spacing of 1.0 ~ 1.5m, and spacing between two fence walls of 0.8m Grape seedlings are in the middle of two fences. In the year of planting, when double-wall vertical shaping is adopted, four new shoots are selected as fruiting branches; When double-wall horizontal shaping is adopted, two main vines are selected as fruiting mother branches and tied on the left and right fence walls respectively. The rest of the molding steps are similar to the single-wall vertical type.

Scaffolding, covering a large area. The row spacing is 4 ~ 8m, and the plant spacing is 0.5 ~1.0m. Each plant chooses two branches, which extend to the left and right respectively. After the bud eyes on these two branches germinate, the strong vine at the base is selected to bear fruit, and the strong vine in the middle continues to extend upward until it reaches the shed surface, and then separates left and right; In the future, according to the size of the shelf surface, choose to leave an appropriate amount of branches and vines until the shelf surface is covered.

In order to keep the balance between growth and fruiting, and inhibit the outward migration of fruit parts, it is necessary to select and leave preparatory branches and vines at the base. The pruning method is basically the same as the hedge frame.
