Reflections on folk songs
After reading a famous book, I believe you will have many feelings in your heart. It's time to spend some time writing about your feelings after reading it. So, can it really be written? The following are some of my thoughts on the mountain duet, and I'll sort them out for you. Welcome to reading. I hope you will like it.

Thoughts after reading "Chorus of the Mountains" 1 "The world can't see your heart. It doesn't care about your hopes, dreams and sorrows. It's all skin and bones. This is so simple, so absurd, so cruel. " I started my whole reading with the personal experience of plastic surgeon Marcos after many years of plastic surgery, combined with his sister's personal experience (abandoned by her biological mother because she was bitten by a dog when she was a child, raised by the doctor's parents, and later took care of the mother who accompanied the doctor).

The novel takes a pair of Afghan brothers and sisters separated by poverty as the main line, and finally reunites, which leads to the endless pain and disaster brought to the Afghan people by one war after another during the separation of more than 60 years.

There are several places in the book that I remember vividly. One place is that Mr. Wahdati has always loved his housekeeper Nabi, but he had to marry another woman because he had no choice. This reminds me of Chai Jing's in-depth analysis of the pain and helplessness of homosexual patients in his book Seeing. In fact, they are vulnerable groups. After the housekeeper learned of this, although she felt very contemptuous, she did not abandon Mr. Vahdati, who could not take care of himself because of cerebral hemorrhage, and took care of him until her death. He fell in love with him, which gave him friendship, affection and companionship in the war.

The fate of a girl named Luo Shi involves a pair of cousins with completely different personalities. In life, we can see many people in miniature from my cousin Idris. He is kind-hearted but not really selfless, and promised to help Luo Shi contact a doctor as soon as possible after returning to the United States to treat the brain effusion caused by being cut in the head by his uncle. However, after returning home, he was too busy with his own affairs to take care of this girl who had nothing to do with himself. Even contacting the dean for free treatment was completed under the repeated urging of nurse Amra. Whether it is successful or not, it is just to let his heart feel relieved. He could have used the redecorated living room to subsidize Luo Shi, but he pursued the comfort of his own life. We can't deny his inner kindness, but he gave the poor little girl such great hope, and then it was endless disappointment. It's really cruel It was not until many years later that the little girl had grown into a slim girl with no scars on her head that he realized at the signing ceremony of her new book that for many years, it was her cousin (he always thought that his cousin Timur was unfaithful to his wife and a pushy person) who was sponsoring the girl to go out of Afghanistan for treatment and study until she became a writer. Timur is a helpful person. He is smart and lively. Together with nurse Amra, she changed the fate of Luo Shi, a girl whose whole family was killed by her uncle.

For more than 60 years, my brother Abdullah and my sister Paley have been brothers. My sister can enjoy forgetting, but my brother has to suffer. Abdullah named his daughter Bali, and his thoughts never stopped, but the war made the reunion even more slim. It was not until Marcos, a volunteer doctor in Afghanistan, told his sister Paley Nabi's letter that Paley bridged the gap for so many years. However, Abdullah didn't know her sister who had missed her all her life. Severe Alzheimer's disease has made him unable to take care of himself, but this family relationship remains the same, because there are their children, their children's children, and they are connected by blood and passed down from generation to generation.

After reading folk songs, a proper amount of ice can turn boiled water into warm water that is easy to enter; Proper amount of honey can make lemon tea delicious; A moderate amount of jokes can make the conversation easy; And the right amount of hope can make the tragedy less sad.

The story brought to us by the author is very long, spanning more than 60 years. It is also very big, including many stories of people related to the story. Therefore, we can understand and feel from multiple angles and experience various different lives. This makes the whole story without a bad guy, or a downright bad guy.

I read a book about a year or two ago, but to be honest, I can't remember the names of people after reading the second half, and it is always difficult to remember the names of foreigners. What impressed me was the affection between Suleiman and Nabi. Two men, I recommend something I haven't seen in reading. Just like reading the explicit sex in the recommended reading for the first time, I feel that I have grown up a little, and I have passed the age when I need to understand the world by protection and restriction. Of course, it turns out that my idea is still too naive and naive.

Rereading this book, I feel that the whole story is immersed in an indelible sadness. This kind of sadness is looming, buried between the lines, and people will be caught off guard.

The bedtime story at the beginning perfectly sets the tone of the whole book:

I had to cut off a finger to save my hand.

This is the so-called choice. Sabl abandoned Paley, Nyala abandoned Suleiman, Idris abandoned Roshi, and Madalina abandoned Saizeriya. And all this is for life, for a better life. In the end, all kinds of helplessness evolved into tragedy and spread in the hearts of the living. And in the end, like bedtime stories, like all things in the past, it passed. It's over.

There are also many betrayals in the book, betraying family, betraying friends and betraying lovers. So lasting feelings are hope. Suleiman's feelings for Nabi, Little Barry's feelings for Barry and Abdullah's feelings for Barry are persistent and long-lasting. So that when Abdullah, who persisted for more than 60 years, was defeated by the disease, and when Parry came, that kind of sadness and regret was so obvious.

And the story of Idris and Luo Shi also deeply touched me. The article describes the inner activities of Idris in detail. I think the author is very good at expressing the psychology of the characters with some seemingly small and illogical movements and expressions. ) This also makes readers know more about Idris, instead of directly defining him as a bad guy. He broke his promise and abandoned Roche, but he is flesh and blood, and he will hesitate, feel sad and be condemned by his conscience. It is precisely because of this that he will attend the signing ceremony of Luo Shi's new book six years later. The author describes how Idris felt at that time:

He felt its blow, like an axe falling from his head.

At the end of the story, there are books lying on the bench and cars driving away. But the blow that Luo Shi's words brought to Idris could not be so neat and roared off.

This is the color of this book. Unpleasant in human nature, as well as big and small misses and regrets, have always existed. The author will give you some sweets from time to time, and then throw the dark side of life before our eyes without mercy or modification.

After reading the book, there are many kinds of life and feelings in front of me. The mountains of the country are witnesses and guardians. The author ignores the shadow of war in the environment, but it is not deliberate but dignified, hiding people's emotions in events and actions. Only after reading it did he suddenly realize the logical ending. Everyone has difficulties and secrets, some will wander in time, and some will stay among the mountains, bringing people melancholy and thinking.

Life is so immersed in the mountains, singing repeatedly.

After reading folk songs, people often regret it because they lost it; Because I miss it, I know how to cherish it. If you treat what you should protect, it is easy for you to treat it badly and abandon it. When you return to peace, you will find that people are guarding something called sex all their lives, not only for themselves, but also for others.

The story begins in a poor village in Afghanistan. Now, Afghanistan seems to mean war, panic and killing. Everything in Afghanistan has also changed because of interest-driven wars.

Say the word "jealousy" first. Sister Masuma and sister Parvana fell in love with Sabl at the same time. Although they are sisters, their looks are quite different-my sister was praised as a beauty embryo since childhood, while my sister was the object of ridicule. For a long time, my sister's beauty is like a gun, but the gun is aimed at her forehead. When Parvana found out that her sister also liked Sabl, although she was unwilling, she couldn't say anything. While they were playing on the trunk, Parvana gently pushed her sister down the tree. From then on, Masooma was paralyzed in bed, and her sister had to take care of her. Parvana swallowed his bitter fruit and bound his personal freedom to his sister's side. The word jealousy is like a fire, which scorches reason and leaves no beauty.

In any year, the love between family members is the most selfless and sincere. No matter what decision the family makes, it is for love. Sabl has three children, so he decided to send his daughter Paley to the host family where his uncle Nabi works. Brother Abdullah loved his sister Paley the most, and this decision also had a great impact on his life. Fortunately, Paley's family is very sincere to her, so that she still enjoys the beauty of her childhood. But love can be compensated and irreplaceable.

When it comes to Afghanistan, it is inevitable to talk about war. At the beginning of the war, human nature began to be exposed, on the one hand, cruelty, on the other hand, loyalty. When the warlords do whatever they want in this land, they mercilessly defile the children's hearts.

Nabi and his master, Mr. Vahla Ti, remain at home in Kabul. When Wala had a stroke, Nabi didn't go away, but took on all the chores and took care of him wholeheartedly. Once a master and servant, now a friend in need, not only because of the environment, but also because of the unique love of the human heart. The rescuers who came to Afghanistan, selfless dedication, love every wounded person with a broad mind, and everyone who was deeply stung by the war may be the so-called brilliance of human nature.

Life is limited, and the war will end one day. When the advantages and disadvantages of human nature are infinitely magnified, the so-called family friendship is precious. No matter how hard it is, there is only hope.

At the end of the story, Paley found her long-lost brother in America. She still loves her sister deeply and keeps the feathers she once gave her. Just because he was ill, he forgot his memory, but it doesn't matter anymore.

The story ends in a dream, and the two brothers and sisters seem to have returned to childhood, playing together and fighting together. During the conversation, everything seemed so calm, without war, without all the suffering and displacement. As if the lake was calm and the fallen leaves stopped in the soil, they crossed the spring and went to Qiu Lai, hiding the irreparable time. Fortunately, we are still us.

The author seems to be a bystander, just telling a story without personal feelings. In the slowly coming words, it not only brought suffering, but also brought some light of hope and love. It tells us that no matter what the environment and fate are, we must protect that worthy thing and that simple love.

Reflection on folk songs 4 "I saw the sad little fairy,

Stay in the shadow of the paper tree.

I know the sad fairy,

The evening breeze blew her away. "

Simple and plain nursery rhymes, like hentai, never stop. It hurts to hit someone!

This nursery rhyme, like the music of nature, seems to be crying, and it is the harmony that runs through the novel Echo with the Mountain. Echoing the Mountains is another masterpiece of Khaled Husseini after The Kite Runner and A Thousand Sunnis. Husseini is an Afghan-American writer. He is "determined to dust off the faces of ordinary Afghans and show the world the beating soul behind him." He plucked the most beautiful strings of human nature with tenderness, making sandstone blossom and a heart of stone cry. The whole novel is full of "epic suffering". Writers bear great pain of home and country, just like bard wandering between heaven and earth, playing with affection and love sadly.

In the opening fable, he tells the story of a loving father, Aaron Bu, who broke a finger to save nine fingers. For the sake of other children and the whole village, he gave his favorite little son to the devil. When he finally found the devil through hardships and determined to avenge his beloved son to death, he found that the child lived well in the devil's garden and lived a happy life like heaven. He fought back an unforgettable desire and turned away. Because he didn't want his son to suffer like him. When Aaron lived to be very old, when he couldn't sleep at night, he would walk out of the house on crutches and sit on a big stone on the ground, "looking at the stars and watching the clouds drift across the moon. He recalled his long life and thanked him for his kindness and happiness. He knows that he has more demands and desires, and he is cheeky. " A ripe fruit, a smooth old rock, starry sky, wind around, the old man's life is no longer slag foam. When all the sounds are heard, there are different sounds. It's jingling. It was the little bell he tied around his son's neck, but the heartbreaking pain became a ballad. ...

Long clouds drag the sky, falling flowers are everywhere, rocks are cold, and the heart is thousands of miles away.

People have to go through countless obstacles from scratch. At that time, countless ties were not involved. This is destiny. People know, but people can't live in this great understanding. So there are ugliness such as war, fraud, greed and cruelty. Husseini saw through the trick, so he felt pity.

The biggest shock to me from Echoing the Mountain is that the characters' hearts are presented in an unobstructed view, cruelty and kindness, light and darkness, two sides of a body, and the new moon is full of its own phantoms. It is not new that Housainy chooses different characters as multi-level narrative protagonists, so that his life that has flowed for 60 years can be reflected in many directions. The quality of text texture depends on the writer's inner strength, and more on the writer's understanding of the existence and disappearance of various lives. Housainy's story, like the gentle rolling mountains under the mighty sky, shines with awe-inspiring sacred brilliance. He reminds me of the magnanimity of great wisdom. This generosity is more valuable than purity. Simplicity will become ignorance, but generosity will not. Because the generosity of the wise has surpassed the market, it is higher, deeper and farther than self-mockery, and it is more lasting and stronger than struggle. Perhaps we have long been accustomed to obeying and surrendering in exchange for our own safety, and openly write all kinds of successful studies that sell well all over the world. However, life should not be like this!

One day, what will be left when the wind blows us away that night?

The tips of "Folk Songs" are: light, hope and warmth.

After reading a book a day, I read 1 1: 55. If I can put down the first few books before going to bed, this is a book I can't put down. I haven't experienced this feeling of reading for many years, haha, I'm afraid it's been more than ten years.

One day after watching Echo of the Mountain, I burst into tears. Baba's voice fluttered and repeated, singing the two sentences: "I saw a sad little fairy, staying in the shadow of a paper tree." Parry covered her mouth. She sang: "I know the sad little fairy, and the evening wind blew her away." "Paley thinks, I also think, that they have made a breakthrough. They call back their brothers with magical songs, like fairies in fairy tales. She thinks her brother has recognized her. In fact, there is truth and falsehood, and this is the way novels leave regrets, which makes people feel lost.

And this is the best ending. Two leaves growing on a tree, like two sharp flowers, were accidentally blown to different places by a gust of wind, and finally came together at the last minute because of the entanglement of roots.

It's past twelve o'clock, so sleepy, my eyes are sore, and all kinds of friendships in my mind, brother and sister, father and daughter, sisters, close contact, deep concern, betrayal, jealousy, dissolution ... hit me in the chest like a wooden stick. Each of us should live in love. Without love, life will be missing and painful. The people who hurt us the most in life are often the closest people. Selling one's children, although forced, throwing away one's disabled daughter, forgetting that one used to be attached to his children like a daughter, and leaving his mother for many years without going home ... these are all injuries. Injury is like a cut, leaving an eternal scar, which is very ugly. I always remind them that some people will never recover.

The profound influence of childhood is everywhere. Why did Paley choose such a major? Why do you want to go this way? Mathematics has a definite answer, and the invariance of mathematical axioms is neither random nor vague, which can make people find comfort. Although knowing the answer is difficult to solve, you can always find it. They are just there, waiting, and eventually someone will scribble on them with chalk. What she has been thinking, what she has been missing, what she has been looking for, she wants a clear answer.

Abdullah, why did you tie your daughter Paley so tightly? Because he has been very afraid in his heart, afraid of losing his child again, just like losing his baby sister. Tight love, like a chain, also locks the child's life.

On the other hand, Nyla is a brave woman. She has been looking for cigarettes, wine, poetry and even a child. Unfortunately, she has never found her true love, because she won't love and pay, because she hasn't got enough love. Yes, the lack of love in childhood doomed a person to never be happy. None of the children brought her enough love. She finally died of despair.

One person, one scene, this narrative way, feels very clever, no one is the protagonist, who is the supporting role, in our own life, each of us is the protagonist.

The change of scene has an unreal feeling. In California and Paris, we always compare war-torn Afghanistan. The comfort here, everything people care about, is completely different from the life of Afghans and has a montage of changes.

This is a good story. Reminds me that love has been singing in the mountains.

Reflection on "Folk Songs" 6 After reading "Folk Songs" by Khalid Husseini, I read a sentence: Beauty is a huge and improper gift, which is arbitrary and stupid.

I also thought of Watanabe's words I saw elsewhere: "The appearance of the face is my parents' responsibility, and the expression on my face is my own responsibility."

In Folk Songs, Saizeriya was bitten off by a dog when he was a child. Everyone regards her as a monster-even her mother wants to get rid of this "burden". Saizeriya put on a mask, and the mother and daughter went to another city to live with Saizeriya's mother Madonna's friend Oti and her son Marcos. Saizeriya never takes off his mask except in the room. After Saizeriya's mother abandoned her, Oti encouraged her to put down her mask. But in Marcos, he said, "You can do research, you can be a scientist, you can be a professor, you can be an inventor. You are the smartest person I know. When you can do whatever you want, Saizeriya said, "No, I can't. "Deny all possibilities.

It's cruel, but it seems true. Many times, "ugly" has really become the reason why people are biased against a person. When applying for a job, if you have a relatively outstanding appearance, it seems easier to get opportunities; In dealing with people, "good-looking" can naturally leave a better first impression; If you have a sweetheart, it seems that you can't get what you want because of your appearance. As Marx said in his book, what kind of people we are will, or may, depend to a great extent on the symmetry of their bones, the distance between their eyes, the length of their chin, the projection angle of the tip of their nose, and whether they have ideal nose and forehead bones. This is indeed an injustice from heaven, which gives some people natural advantages and some people natural disadvantages.

But there is no doubt that appearance is by no means the only criterion that determines your fate. What really determines a person's success is what he gets through his own efforts the day after tomorrow, such as knowledge, experience and talent. As an actress, Zhou Dongyu was often questioned about her appearance and clothes when she first made her debut, but she won everyone's acceptance and affirmation with her superb acting skills. Beauty and talent can naturally be recognized, and if there is only a beautiful shell, it will be despised. Napoleon's short stature conquered and unified the French Empire. Ma Yun's appearance and height did not prevent him from achieving great success. Ye Jingsheng, Chen Kaishi and other ugly stars occupy a place in the film and television circle with their own uniqueness. Today's society is a society that pays more attention to talent and personality. As long as your soul has charm, its light can naturally cover up your own lack of appearance.

As Watanabe said, you can't decide the appearance of your face, and it can't decide your life. And the expression on your face, inferiority or confidence, depends on yourself. If you have a beautiful soul and are full of poems, then your face must be confident and elegant, not self-denying and complaining about the world. Look like this, family, figure and so on.

Therefore, don't complain about the injustice of fate, and don't feel inferior to the congenital deficiency. Life is in your own hands.
